Write a letter to editor of the newspaper for claiming prize which they acknowledged. In your letter, you should say: • Details of how you won the prize • What the prize you are going to get • What actions you expect to be taken.
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to express my dissatisfaction related with a knowledge competition related to drug abuse topic which was held during the month of April.
I was very keen when I read about this
essay writing contest in your esteemed newspaper. After checking my eligibility to participate, I also
send my entry to this
competition and fortunately, my essay won 1st position in it. However
, It has been two months since that day when the results are announced but still I did not get any award till now.
As it is clearly mentioned in the guidelines, the person who got the first
rank will be given a trophy as well as a monetary prize of 10,000/- within a week. Yet, I did not receive any confirmation for the same. Also
, I had sent all the documents demanded by the authorities yet I got no reward for attaining that position.
Though I contacted the helpline number, I get no response from them. Thus
, It would be really commendable if you could please look into this
matter so that I and the other contestants can get their rewards.
I am hoping that you will take this
matter into your kind consideration and make arrangements for the timely disposal of the award money to the participants.
Yours Faithfully,
