Many people believe in the idea of school children wearing a school uniform, but should teachers as well be required to conform to a dress code?

The recent surge in
teachers
wearing fancy clothes to work has prompted calls for the education sector to curb the problem. While some suggest
teachers
should be allowed to wear what they want, others suggest it may cause problems. In
this
essay, I will discuss both sides and make a judgement. To embark upon,
teachers
should not be required to conform to a dress code considering they are adults and ability to choose what is appropriate. Compared to
students
who are still young and naive
teachers
are mature
hence
they have the ability to choose the correct clothing.
For example
,
teachers
fully understand why they should never wear clothes that are too revealing or too expensive.
On the other hand
, some maintain that it is unfair that only
teachers
are allowed to freely whereas
students
are required to wear school
uniforms
.
For instance
, in some schools in HK strict rules have to be followed by
students
.
Such
as skirts covering the Knees as well as black flats. Suggesting
teachers
should
also
wear
uniforms
so that
Students
would not feel mistreated.
Furthermore
, non-
uniforms
may cause
teachers
to wear branded clothes to school and the distortion of values of teenagers. One example would be when teenagers wittiness
teachers
wearing luxury items,
as a result
, they may try to dress the same way and purchase branded products which are out of their ability .Resulting in actions of skipping meals to save money. Suggesting
teachers
should wear
uniforms
. After weighing both factors, I reckon,
teachers
should wear
uniforms
so that
students
would not felt feel unfair and learn incorrect values.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
