Nowadays computer education is compulsory for your learners in most schools. Do you think this is necessary or will children acquire these skills naturally from their daily interaction with technology everywhere? Provide your opinion and use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

These days almost in all
schools
computer
education has become an integral part of the curriculum. Some people think that it should not be necessary for
school
because pupils can acquire
this
skill from their daily interaction technologies
such
as laptops, mobile phones or palmtops. I personally believe that
computer
knowledge
should be compulsory in
schools
.
This
essay will discuss my viewpoints in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To begin
with, some people are not in a favor of
computers
as a part of the
school
curriculum. They think that students are most engaged with new technologies
such
as mobile phones and they can get immense
knowledge
from there. Whilst, I believe that
computers
in
schools
should be a must because on mobile phones they just learn how to play digital games on
computers
or smartphones. Even, They do not have basic
knowledge
of
computers
. At
school
, there will be a daily lecture on
computer
science and their tutor will tell them how
computers
can use in a particular field.
Moreover
, they will
also
learn how to operate a
computer
, and how can type a letter, solve queries and make presentations. A student will learn
this
from
school
.
In addition
, Nowadays,
This
era is a technology era or
computer
era. We cannot think of our life without a
computer
. One can find
computers
at each and every place
such
as police stations, railway stations,
schools
, hospitals, colleges and so on. I do not think there is any occupation or field where a
computer
is not needed.
For instance
, if people giving a job interview they
firstly
asked, do you have
knowledge
of basic
computer
skills? So, I believe that these basic skills learn from
school
with proper syntax and semantics. To conclude, in my opinion, it is compulsory to have
computer
skills a
school
. So that everyone can get
knowledge
from
school
.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
