Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both views and give opinions

Many
people
believe that the best way is to accept terrible circumstances in their
lives
like an unfavorite
job
or a lack of money, while others think that it is better to improve these
situations
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both these views and give my own opinion. On the one hand,
people
believe they should accept any bad
situations
,
such
as a
job
they do not like, stressful jobs, or low income because they think changing is risky and requires massive effort.
Although
some
people
want to change to improve their
lives
, they are so lazy and do not have the necessary determination.
Therefore
, they will do nothing and become inactive
people
.
Moreover
, by accepting bad
situations
, at least
people
may feel safe.
For example
, when a person tries to find another
job
, there is no guarantee that the new
job
can offer them a higher salary or a better working environment.
On the other hand
, some
people
try to improve their awful circumstances because they want to have better
lives
.
Moreover
, they can afford things they like, travel, and have parties with their friends.
For instance
, some poor students attempt to work hard in order to acquire a scholarship to study.
Therefore
, they can have good jobs that they like, earn money, and have enjoyable social
lives
. In conclusion,
although
there are many reasons
people
believe they should accept unfavourable
situations
, I firmly believe that they should improve those circumstances so that their
lives
will be better.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
