The maps below show an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and planned future development of the site.

The plans illustrate the current layout of an industrial zone to the east of Norbiton,

along with

proposed future improvements.

Overall

, the factory area is expected to redevelop into a residential neighbourhood, with additional housing and other supporting facilities. At present, the area is located in the eastern of the town with a river in the north and on the other side of the river is cultivated land. In the middle, there is a roundabout with two exits, one of which links to the main road in the south and the other is oriented towards the east. All the factories are set on both sides of the eastern road and

also

around the centre roundabout. Regarding the proposed developments, the factories are set to be removed and the area will become a residential sector. The centre roundabout will be added with two new branches, one way will be designed for the northwestern side with housing and shops, and the other will cross a newly added bridge allowing access to the accommodation

to the farmland. A small roundabout will be constructed on the north main road linking to the large one. The facilities

as a playground and a medical centre are expected to be built in the southeastern quarter. A school will be needful included as well.
