Dear Sam,
I hope you and your family are in good spirits. I am really sorry I couldn't make it to your parents' anniversary
last
week owing to a few unrealistic deadlines at work.
I am writing this
letter to seek a few suggestions from you in order to learn french better since it is your first
language. The reason for this
is that I shall be travelling to France this
year as an exchange student for a period of 6 months, having scored exceptionally well in my second
(2) semester.
Perhaps, I was wondering if you may recommend to me any book, audio book
, or online course, which may help me to brush up my french in a short span of time, considering that I am scheduled to kickstart my Correct your spelling
audiobook
third
(semester) in the following month. So, I hardly have any time on my hands.
What's more, I think we should meet in person and discuss these things over a coffee at your favourite restaurt
, The Big Chill Cafe, on Thursday at 7:00 Pm. Do let me know of your plans.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
