You are planning to give a party at home. You want to cook a meal for this party and decided to ask a friend for a recipe from his/her country. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter - Tell the friend why you are giving this party - Explain why you want a recipe from his/her country - Invite your friend to the party

Dear Claire, How are you and your family? I am writing
this
letter because I want you to share your mother’s Filipino recipe to make for a party at my house the day after tomorrow. I am having
this
party for my community friends. Since they are from the Philippines and India, I thought of asking you to help me with the recipe of Pancit Bihon as you are from there. I need to send links or call me as I need to get the ingredients to make
this
main course dish. I am inviting you to please attend
this
party as you can meet other Filipinas and make friends since you are new to the city. I would love for you to come home to help make the dish as it is my
first
time trying to cook your version. See you soon and try to come a little early for us to have fun cooking together. Warm wishes, Param

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
