You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter * describe the situation * explain your problems and why it is difficult to work * say what kind of accommodation you would prefer You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,
#room #college #student #arrangement #work #accommodation #officer #situation #addresses #sir #madam
Dear Sir or Madam,
I hope
this
email finds you well.
My name is Roberta and I live in room
46. I have tried to reach out to you at reception and your lovely assistant asked me to write this
e-mail to you as the request needs to be in writing. I would like to express my concern with my current accommodation arrangements. This
is because my roommate's schedule is the opposite of mine.
To start with, she works during evening shifts, which means, she gets back home late in the night being unintentionally very noisy. This
constantly awakes me and I have become annoyed as I cannot be productive the following day. In addition
, this
makes it hard to keep up with my early morning studies as I must have lights on and open curtains, while she needs to sleep. This
is very disruptive for both of us.
Because of this
, after these 3 months, I have decided that if I live by myself, it will be beneficial for my studies. I am happy to afford an ensuite single room
. Although
I prefer the rooms located at the end of the building, I do not mind being located at the entrance. Is it possible to change to a single ensuite room
?
Please advise me on the requirements to transfer rooms. Looking forward to hearing back from you on the room
availability.
Have a lovely week ahead,
Kind Regards,
