In many cities, an increasing number of people do not know their neighbors and there is no sense of community anymore. Discuss the causes and suggest measures that might deal with this situation.

There is no denying the fact that knowing your neighbour can be challenging nowadays due to many factors. In many cities,
people
are avoiding getting to know their
neighbours
and the concept of a friendly community seems to be disappearing after all. In
this
essay, I will examine the causes of
this
phenomenon and suggest ideas to motivate
people
to be familiar more with their
neighbours
. As revealed, recently,
people
are busier than before with their daily life which makes them more occupied and self-centred and
this
is one of the significant causes that affect the way
people
are with their
neighbours
.
Moreover
,
people
are losing faith in each other due to the recent hate crimes, which can be a little bit challenging to invite
people
over for dinner without knowing who they really are.
Additionally
, cultural differences are now slightly increasing because many
people
immigrate for a variety of reasons
such
as work and study, which can be intimidating for some
people
to get out of their comfort zone and deal with
neighbours
. These are the popular causes of why
people
are not enthusiastic about knowing their
neighbours
. In order to spread the concept of a friendly community, many measures can be taken to ensure that
people
are welcoming
this
concept into their lives.
For instance
, weekly events can be organized to gather all
neighbours
who can be included in many activities to break the ice,
such
as games, cooking, and sports.
In addition
, clubs can be created for different types of hobbies to match the
neighbours
together with common things they love like Chess, Football, or even Dancing.
Neighbours
can play an important role in
people
's lives and can bring new things to learn from.
Although
it is a scary thing for some
people
, ensuring that the community itself is healthy and being controlled properly to make everyone satisfied,
people
will be happy more to know their
neighbours
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
