You have had a bank account for a few years. Recently you received a letter from the hank stating that your account is $240 overdrawn and that
you will he charged $70 which will he taken directly from your account. You know that this information is incorrect.

Write a letter to the bank. Explain what has happened and say what you would like them to do about it.

Dear Sir, My name is Kulwinder Kaur having a personal and saving
account
in your bank for the
last
12 years. My
account
number is 9870652790. I am writing
this
letter to raise my concern regarding a letter I just received from the bank. In
this
letter, the statement shows that I overdrawn the amount of $240 from my
account
and will be charged for extra $70 for
this
overdraft. Please note that I am not using
this
account
for the
last
6 months and I
also
sent an email to your institution for the closure of
this
account
but did not get any response. Afterwards, I tried to withdraw the remaining amount from my
account
but the transaction failed and I was
also
notified notify by the same of the bank.
Hence
I presume that it may be a clerical error you may check my
account
for detailed clarification. I request you to kindly check my concern regarding
this
transaction and look forward to hearing back from you. Yours faithfully, Kulwinder
