Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Jazzy and I am going to join a project management training programme in the United Kingdom. I noticed from a follow-up email that you are looking for volunteers for a social event and I offer myself for the role. In my office, I am often responsible to plan important events, coordinating with the event management team, facilitating the guest lecturers and ensure conducting successful meetings. I enjoy playing
such
roles and I am quite confident I would be the right person for your social event as well. I would,
therefore
, request you to send me more details regarding the training session and your plan for it so that I can start contributing right away. My employee ID is 456789 and you can check my profile before selecting me as an organiser. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, Pooja

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
