It has been suggested that primary children should learn how to grow vegetables and keep animals. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Some people claim that students should learn gardening skills and rear
animals
in primary
school
. While
this
educational method seems to require enormous resources, it brings a lot of benefits to children’s development. Teaching young children how to plant trees and raise
animals
requires huge expenses for
school
facilities to be fully equipped,
for example
, land to grow crops or space to raise poultry. One of the salient illustrations of
this
is a high-class
school
in Vietnam named in
school
, they have huge grounds and full facilities to teach their students how to grow vegetables and breed
animals
. Whereas rich parents can pay for
school
tuition fees easily, less affluent people may find it difficult for them to afford their money for high-class
school
. Albeit conceding the disadvantages of
this
innovation, children’s development can become more holistic. They can learn about
animals
and plants in order to be eco-minded, or at least they have an awareness of protecting the environment. One of the most outstanding examples of
this
that I mentioned before is Vinschool students, they can learn how to grow their own vegetables.
This
would mean a lot in encouraging them to shop locally and supporting the domestic economy. In conclusion, while the mentioned suggestion brings a lot of merits, its budget must be considered thoughtfully so less affluent parents can have a chance for their child to approach
this
advantageous method.
