You and a couple of your colleagues would like to participate in a work-related seminar. Write a letter to the person in charge of the seminar and ask for • detailed information regarding the dates • program schedule • Enquire about cost and possible discounts for groups

Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing
this
letter with regard to the seminar that will be organized in the
first
quarter of
next
year. I and my team are very keen on collaborating with that workshop. It would be so grateful if you could send us the detailed agenda regarding the timeframe when the workshop is scheduled so that we could give heads-up to our department head and plan our travel
accordingly
.
In addition
to that, we would like to get a detailed plan and a list of topics that will be covered at
this
summit. We
also
heard that there is a cost associated with
this
summit,
however
, we would like to know the exact price for joining,
moreover
, we would like to check if there

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
