Fresh produces are frequently exported by
air
to different nations where it is out of season or impossible to grow. The transportation of fruits and
vegetables
by
air
has some benefits and at the same time
this
has negative consequences, and, the same is discussed in the following paragraphs.
To begin
with, the benefits of importing fruits and
vegetables
are that even people at distinct places can get the timely delivery of any kind of fruit or vegetable that they are craving , but because of seasons, they can not eat it.
Secondly
, we can save a lot of fruits and
vegetables
from damage because ,through the
air
, products are delivered quickly.
For example
, a product needs to be transferred to place A which is 3000 km far from place B, if it has been transported by road, it would have been delivered in 3 days but by ,
air
it will be delivered in four hours.
On the other hand
, a lot of pollution is caused by aeroplanes.
This
is to say that each time food is imported, a huge amount of fuel is burned, resulting in carbon emissions that contribute to global warming.
This
is compounded by the fact that exporting food often results in farming methods that damage the environment. The extra demand of overseas markets requires domestic producers to increase their food production, which often means using dangerous pesticides and herbicides, and many waterways are contaminated with these hazardous chemicals. At
last
, I will conclude that while exporting produce overseas allows people to eat a variety of fruit and
vegetables
throughout the year and it is essential for people in some countries to survive, it is important to pay attention to the costs to the environment caused by
air
transport and changes to farming methods.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
