You saw an advert for the post of finance manager at the vacancy board. You want to apply for the same job. But, you have been late for applying for the same. Write a letter along with your resume to your prospective employer. In your letter • introduce yourself • talk about yourskills • reasons for your delay

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing
this
letter to express my interest in the career opening within your organisation. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant from the 2018 batch, with a post qualification experience of more than 3 years in the statutory audit profile.
Also
, I did my training from one of the renowned firm's PwC India offices. Being an auditor, I got exposure to doing audits for Telecom entities, along with a thorough understanding of the financial structure and functioning of companies in
this
industry.
Furthermore
, during my office duration, I worked on the SAP system of a client and got used to it. I have missed the timeline to apply for
this
position because of some personal reasons. Actually, for the past few days, I got stuck in my office meetings and did not get any spare time to focus on the job search. As I am very loyal to my responsibilities
that is
why I failed to submit my resume on time. Hope I will be able to justify my delay and my experience found myself suitable for
this
position. Looking forward to hearing from your side. Feel free to reach out. Your Sincerely, Shivam

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
