Your colleague has invited you to his farewell party. You will not be able to attend the party, write a letter to the friend. - Explain the situation, - Say why you will not be attending, - Say something about the period you have worked together and his work.
Dear Ravi,
I regret to write
this
letter as I cannot attend your farewell party due to my busy schedule which is not able to skip at the workplace considering the year-end closing activities and client support meetings as well.
As you know, I will be on call throughout the week without any gaps. In addition
, I must look after my team member project deliverables right from day one onwards. Hence
, I am really afraid to leave them alone and am not sure how the team will perform without my presence in front of the client. Furthermore
, most of my team members are very new to the client and I need to introduce them to clients which cannot be ignored at any cost.
I still remember those blissful days we worked together on the United states project and I cannot even forget your phenomenal project execution along with the spectacular quality of work with zero error rate which made us proud in the global competition in the North America region.
I look forward to meeting you at some other time please feel free to drop your calendar dates I would love to book any hotel or place to visit.
Best Regards,
Lakshmi.Submitted by lakshma999 on
