Many say that international students should reside in university dormitories while others think shared community housing is better. What are the advantages of both? Which approach do you favour? Give reasons and examples to support your answer.
When it comes to starting
university
, the students
have to make a decision about their accommodation. Some people argue that dormitories offered by the university
are the best option, whilst others say that community housing is better. I prefer the dormitories located on campus
and in this
essay I will examine both options.
On the one hand, having a room on the campus
of your chosen institute looks like the best option, especially for new students
. They have an affordable price, and living in the university
's space has a lot of benefits. Firstly
, the student can boost his confidence in the campus
, by knowing each location or office. Secondly
, the pupils will build a network of relationships by meeting other students
. And lastly
, it's possible to save money and time in order to join your class, by avoiding public transport like buses or trains. For example
, a lot of colleges suggest staying in the accommodations offered by the campus
to their students
because they can live a better experience during their studies.
On the other hand
, staying in shared community housing is a good choice if individuals want to save money on the rent. These kinds of structures are very cheap, but at the same ,time
they offer many facilities Add an article
the time
such
as the swimming pool, the garden and car parking. Another advantage is that the pupil can be more focused on his study, without being interrupted by other students
. For instance
, they can isolate themselves from the chaotic campus
life.
To conclude, despite shared housing communities being good options because they are very cheap and a quiet place to study, in my opinion living on campus
is the best choice for a student in order to live a complete university
experience.Submitted by tommasobelgrano02 on
