In spite of the advances in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry. Why is this the cases? What can be done about this problem?

It is widely believed that
people
all around the
world
still suffer from
hunger
despite advances in farming and agriculture. The problem of
world
hunger
is caused by government policies and business holders and can result in a population decrease. The possible solutions to
this
problem will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
Food
is one of the fundamental needs of a person. Population decrease is an issue which is rooted in many reasons one of which could be the lack of
food
supplies that leads
people
to
hunger
. If
people
get hungry and pass away due to that, it will reduce the workforce and eventually, the result will be seen in the economy. Since not many children will make it to be old enough to work and make money and that will ruin a country’s economy. The
first
possible solution to
this
problem is that the governments should change their policies about imports and exports of
food
products
. It is common in many countries that the best
products
are being exported for financial gains while they import the very same product with less quality and sell it to
people
at higher prices. In
this
case, many
people
lose their lives because they can’t afford those
products
and provide them for their families. They should pay attention to their own
people
first
, so they can buy high-quality
products
at reasonable prices. The
next
solution is very similar to the
first
one. Some business holders
such
as farm owners cling to their own profit and try to make money and they attach no importance to their own
people
, but
this
perspective has to be changed since they should provide for their country. They should pay higher taxes for exporting so they have no choice but to sell fewer
products
to other countries and more
food
will be available for
people
.
Therefore
, as mentioned in the previous paragraphs changing some regulations in importing and exporting agricultural
products
by governments and
people
who are active in business fields is a possible way to prevent
world
hunger
and solve issues
such
as lack of
food
which might lead to
world
famine.
