Your friend has been offered a place on course at the university where you studied. He/She would like your advice about finding a place to live. Write a letter to your friend. Dear Paria,
I am so glad to hear that you got admission to The
University
of Tehran. As I have studied there and I was living away from my family, I can suggest to you how to find a proper house near the university
.
I have been living in a small flat just 10 minutes away from the university
building for 4 years while I was studying. The house was well-appointed and convenient although
it was rather a small one. ,Also
it was near the bus stop and metro station, so I could commute to the university
at the lowest cost and I was always on time for the classes.
I suggest you look up online applications that advertise properties and find out about the apartments available near the university
. Although
you may pay more for rent as the city centre is more expensive to live in, you will not pay a big amount of money for transportation. Moreover
, it saves your time and you will have more time to study. Otherwise
, you will fall behind in your lessons as you are going part-time too.
Finally
, I advise you to rent a furnished apartment. Although
you will pay more in advance, still you pay less than renting an unfurnished apartment and paying for home appliances. Buying necessary household stuff will cost a fortune.
Please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.
Best regards,
