Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opnion

Many suppose that a nation's
language
is the representation of that country's culture, and the extinction of these
languages
could result in absence of the culture they associate with.
Hence
,
language
plays a vital role in the preservation of a nation's culture.
However
, the modern world and globalization are becoming increasingly faster and a massive amount of
communication
needs to be processed instantly, to avoid delay and misinterpretation in
communication
and ensure a common accurate understanding across the globe. And examining the illustrations for the above points of view will reveal my agreement with the statement. On the one hand, it is not uncommon that a wide range of
languages
causes misinterpretation or delay in conversation.
For example
, research findings proved that bilinguists tend to be slower than people who talk only in their mother tongues in recognizing one word.
Hence
, it is likely to lead to disrupted information exchange. In some scenarios, those who speak or hear in a foreign
language
in a meeting may not entirely grasp the ideas of the presenter, which leads to misinterpretation. Sometimes,
this
results in a possible vast financial loss.
Therefore
, if the world community all speak the same
language
, misunderstanding is less likely to happen and

conversation would be much easier.
On the other hand
, lessening the diversity of
languages
helps bring people around the world closer.
For instance
, more clear and understandable
communication
is generated among many people as they do not need to input significant effort or cost more time to come up with a suitable lexical resource when they enter a talk.
Moreover
, these talkers can better comprehend each other when
language
is no longer a barrier as they speak the same
language
.
In addition
, it
subsequently
enhances the mutual bonding among talkers. In short, a vast range of lingual sources would tend to produce more confusion and enlarge the gap between communicators.
This
results in my solid agreement with the absence of some minor
languages
which are deemed unnecessary to achieve a mutually transparent interpretation in
communication
worldwide.
