Some schools start teaching a foreign language in primary school years. Do the advantages of teaching foreign languages to young children outweigh its disadvantages?

It is true that some schools add a foreign
language
in primary school years. People hold conflict about whether the advantages of teaching new
languages
to young
children
outweigh its disadvantages. There are two main reasons why people might disapprove of teaching a
second
language
to young
children
. The
first
objection is that students at that age are too young to approach or acquire a
language
that is
different from their mother tongue. It is because their brain is not smart and quick enough to analyze information and remember strange characters. Students not only deal with
this
problem but might
also
lead to
language
disorders.
This
means that
children
may have a
language
delay, make mistakes in using both of these
languages
, and mix two kinds of
language
when they speak but are not coherent
instead
of comprehending and presenting it completely
for instance
. The
second
argument is that teaching new
languages
to young
children
can lead to the abuse of a new
language
and forgetting the mother tongue. Because of being taught and encouraged to use a new
language
by their parents regularly,
children
might use a foreign
language
more than the original one which results in
misunderstanding
Add an article
a misunderstanding
the misunderstanding
show examples
between them and their peers who use their mother tongue. In spite of the drawbacks mentioned above, I believe that teaching new
languages
to young
children
is a positive measure. One evident strength is that it would be easier and more effective than learning a foreign
language
later.
For example
, If
children
can be taught a new
language
with the amount of suitable knowledge and rational method, they not only rely on the new too much and still balance two
languages
but
also
their original brain can remember simple characters easily and for a long time as long as practice regularly. Thanks to approaching a new
language
at an early age,
children
have a golden time to convert what they have learned into a habit and
this
preparation will help them be more confident and adapt to the international environment easily. In conclusion, I would argue that the benefits of adding a foreign
language
in primary school years outweigh the drawbacks.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
