In some countries, there has been an increase in adverstisements that try to persuade children to buy snacks, toys and other items. Parents often argue that these announcements are unfair. Discuss both perspectives and give your opinion?

contemporary epoch, the influence of publicity campaigns on
children
has become a controversial argument. Whilst some proponents emphasize that these adverts play a salient role in their lives, some opponents and I adopt a diverse stance because they have to be outlawed as they mislead
children
. In
this
essay, both views, along with my perspective will be
further
elaborated. To embark on, despite agreeing with the view that advertisements have a deleterious effect on offspring, some advocates discern that they are crucial to raising the awareness of teenagers.
This
means that when celebrities participate in awareness-raising campaigns, more young people will be protected from wrong directions. An eminent example of
this
is Mo Salah who launched an anti-drug campaign which has encouraged youth to contact anti-drug agencies.
Therefore
, what can be said is that commercials have a constructive role in youth's alertness.
Nevertheless
, some food commercials are directly targeting
children
, and they have to be banned.
In other words
, if adverts use
children
's favourite cartoon characters, they will crave these snacks and take excessive bites.
This
can be witnessed by the Nutella advert which produces an illusive image regarding its ingredients as being healthy
although
it is loaded with palm oils and refined sugars.
Accordingly
, in a final analysis, a plethora of

suffer from obesity and diabetes
as a result
of unethical adverts. In conclusion, after

essay has manifested the above-mentioned points, it can be reiterated that publicities are double-edged swords. Eventually, I am a staunch believer that without food publicities, could not have been suffering.
