The growing number of overweight people is putting a strain on the health care system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that the growing number of overweight individuals is putting pressure on healthcare services. Some
people
think that the best way to solve the problem is to increase physical education
lessons
in the
school
curriculum. I completely believe the statement for two main reasons.
Firstly
, it is the best way to ensure that students who have a sedentary lifestyle can
exercise
in
school
at least, which can prevent them on overweight. To achieve a good grade, students should take all the
lessons
in
school
seriously. With more PE classes in the curriculum, students would play an active part in physical education
lessons
, which can burn off calories and
then
decrease the number of overweight
people
in society.
Secondly
, if young
people
have a chance to
exercise
frequently in
school
, it might broaden their interest in sports in their lives.
In addition
to that, they may take more time doing
exercise
each day as well as doing outdoor activities with their friends or family, which can promote a positive trend of healthy lifestyles in the community. With an increasing number of
people
participating in physical
exercise
, the burden of the health care system would be reduced. In conclusion, considering all the arguments given above, I agree that introducing more physical education
lessons
in
school
is the best way to deal with the increasing population of overweight
people
. If
that is
the case,
people
can maintain their fitness and avoid health problems by doing
exercise
regularly,
then
it can relieve pressure on the healthcare system.
