You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter, • describe the situation • explain your problems and why it is difficult to work • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing you
this
letter to express my discontentment with my current roommate and I would like to request another accommodation
next
semester. My roommate is extremely noisy and puts on loud music very often. She
also
invites friends three or four times a week and held parties which usually end late at night. All these things disturb me a lot and
hence
I cannot concentrate on my studies. My exams are approaching and I am not able to revise properly due to these disturbances. I fear that all these factors might have negative repercussions on my studies and results.
Furthermore
, she usually borrows my things without asking my permission. I cannot tolerate
this
anymore. I would prefer to have accommodation with a well-mannered and well-behaved friend who knows how to stay with one another and respect each other privacy or if possible I would like accommodation for me alone. Looking forward to hearing from you Sir/Madam. Kind regards Sarah
