With the rise of e-books comes to decline in paper books. Some people see this as a good step forward while others don't. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend?

We live in an age when
people
are divided in their opinions regarding the advance of e-

opine that

thought. I believe the drawbacks of it surpass its advantages. On the one hand, it is generally acknowledged that the development of technology embraces us in every subject in terms of making our lives easier. One clear example is that
people
don't need to go to a library or a bookstore.
Thus
, they have a chance to spend their time quality and energy effectively, and, more importantly, save money for their other requirements. They can carry these
books
everywhere merely on their devices. Another point worth noting is that
people
help our world to resolve some challenges, and global issues
such
as congestion, deforestation, air pollution and so on. The reduction of demand for paperback
books
gives a benefit with regard to protecting nature.
On the other hand
, apart from the practical benefits expressed above, it is widely accepted that looking at technological screens for long hours might cause eye

idea because of their passion for that.
Furthermore
, if your smartphone is so small, it
also
contributes to other eye disorders due to the difficulty of reading, and problems with the device itself.
As a result
, paper

may give more chances to take pleasure in spending leisure time both in terms of health and psychologically. In conclusion, despite some minor advantages, I support the view that its positives outweigh its drawbacks.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
