Some universities offer online courses as an alternative to classes delivered on campus.Do you think it is positive or negative developments?

In today's ,world several colleges and universities are granting their
students
the opportunity to study remotely, without insisting on the attendance of the lessons, held within the territory of the educational institution. Personally, I am of the opinion that despite some of the drawbacks, the overall impact of
such
methods of providing
education
is positive, given the reasons that will be discussed in the following paragraphs. Admittedly, there is a possibility of distant
education
rendering people socially isolated. Having an opportunity to study within the boundaries of their own accommodation,
students
would not be able to socialize and interact with their peers.
Besides
, the majority of senior tutors tend to be trained to deliver knowledge through traditional classes on campus, which is why adapting to novel ways of giving lectures can be a challenging task for them.
As a result
, the quality of lessons can be decreased.
Nevertheless
, online studying has created much more opportunities for potential
students
. Nowadays, people all over the world, regardless of their social background and living place, can apply to the most prestigious universities, and if they are accepted, they will be able to obtain an
education
without leaving their motherland.
This
is especially beneficial to those, who cannot afford to live and study overseas, since no extra expenses
such
as purchasing plane tickets and renting accommodation would be required.
Moreover
, by getting their degree remotely,
students
do not have to spend time commuting to their educational institution. As a consequence, they have much more time to spare, which they can allocate to learn and master some new skills, volunteer or get an occupation. It follows from above that
although

such
a way of learning is advantageous

since it is accessible to a greater number of multinational people, cheaper and less time-consuming.
