Scientists and technologists are seems to be more valued in society than artists and muscians in what extent do you agree?

Deciding which profession is of utmost importance in
society
is always a topic of debate. While some believe that artists and musicians are valuable as they provide creative expression of voice, I maintain that
scientists
and technologists are more valuable for the betterment of
society
. In
this
essay, I will argue that
scientists
and technologists are essential professionals for the development and advancement of
society
. The development of civilization as a whole is dependent on the advancement made through
science
and
technology
as it is driven by professionals
such
as
scientists
and engineers. These professionals work hard under uncertain conditions to create solutions for problems, both known and unknown, affecting
society
.
As a result
of
this
, the whole community evolves and gets access to better living conditions.
For example
, the recent
science
and technological advancement in the field of medicine is evidence of the value addition provided by
scientists
and technological experts. Certainly, art is a medium of expression, which has historically been used by artists and musicians in various forms to express their voices. Yet, the role of art and music in the community is limited to being the voice of a culture, plus a source of entertainment.
Besides
, the human life value addition created by these professions is considerably less compared to mainstream professions in
science
and
technology
. In conclusion, a community requires multiple sectors (
such
as arts, music,
science
and
technology
) to thrive, it always values one higher than the other. Clearly, the above discourse argued that
society
values the contributions made by
science
and
technology
more than art and music.
