It is thought by some that it is better to live in a city while others believe that life is better in the country side. Discuss both sides and give your opinion

People have a myriad of views about whether urban cities or rural districts have a better living environment.
Although
there are good arguments in favour of living in a
city
, I personally believe that the
life
in
countryside
will be preferable. In
this
essay, I will probe into the benefits of living in different locations and discuss my own stance.
To begin
with, of all the reasons why living in metropolitan cities will be a comfortable place, probably the most significant factor is the well-organized transportation system. In a metropolitan
city
, the state has paid an effort to introduce different types of transport, ranging from bus, train and tram to cab which allows residents to travel to other parts of the
city
easily.
For instance
, living in Sydney, Australia, we can take a bus from the Renwick suburb to the Central station within 20 minutes. Another point to be noted is the choice of a range of cuisines from different nations. It is no doubt that most urban places are multicultural, like in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong as they are influenced by foreign cultures. A striking illustration is that in Hong Kong, you can try dishes from Japan to America
instead
of just having traditional Chinese meals.
On the contrary
, if you are living in rural places, it is difficult to enjoy a wide range of meals due to insufficient resources.
Hence
, citizens can take advantage of the wide range of transport modes as well as food choices. Despite the aforementioned reasons why individuals reckon living in urban areas is more convenient, I concur that living in the
countryside
is more beneficial for striking a balance between work and
life
. The
first
idea popping into my mind is having a slower pace of
life
and learning to enjoy the beauty of nature. As we all know, living in the
city
, people usually have a hectic
life
where they tend to work from dawn to day and they do not have a chance to genuinely relax. It is not uncommon for residents to suffer from mental illness, like depression and anxiety due to a lack of destressing activities,
such
as undergoing some outdoor events.
In contrast
, it is patent obvious that the
countryside
is full of greenery and the slow pace lifestyle encourages individuals to take some time to chill after work,
for example
, go jogging and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment.
As a result
, it helps improve the public's spiritual quality of
life
as well as maintain a stable mental state. In a nutshell,
although
it is true that there are some advantages to staying in the
city
areas,
however
never should we overlook the living environment and lifestyle in the rural districts provide opportunities for the crowd to unwind a bit.
Therefore
, I personally concur that the
life
in
countryside
outweighs the cities.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
