It is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

Taking risks play a significant role in humans' lives not only in a professional way but
also
in private matters. In my personal, opinion risk-takers get what they want more frequently compared to risk-averse individuals. There are several reasons

why challenging new ways brings many benefits.
Firstly
, there would not be any progress in life if no one tried to do something new. People would still be living like primitive men if everybody was scared of fire or did not want to make a step forwards better life.
Secondly
, it would be almost impossible to build new relationships with other people if everybody sticks to their own environment without any will and wishes to talk to others.
Finally
, it is known that humans tend to regret things that they were not able to do in past,
this
tendency would completely die if everybody did what they intended to do.
Nevertheless
, there are still individuals who tend to think of risk-taking as a negative thing. Most people prefer not to make any questionable

due to a lack of confidence. They are not sure about the result that might backfire or make the situation worse,
this
feeling is definitely not baseless. There is a good amount of examples of risk-takers who received a negative response for their enthusiasm for risk-taking.
However
, it is arguably better to give a chance to challenge something new rather than wonder about a possible outcome. At the end of the day, the advantages of risk-taking do outweigh the disadvantages.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
