They need to know more about my working style and attitude and they can only get that from you as my former boss because I have worked with you for 2 years, and they believe you know how well or badly I contribute to the industry.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:
