Advertisements are becoming more and more common in our everyday life. Is it positive or negative development?

Commercials are becoming progressively popular among
people
in recent years. Nowadays, they are ubiquitous so that
people
can come across them everywhere: on the Internet, in shopping malls, and even in movies. I am of the view that
advertisements
are both beneficial and detrimental in equal measure. Advertising is a critical component of today’s business. There are myriad benefits of
ads
for not only businesses, and
customers
but
also
society.
To begin
with, many companies can reach potential
customers
, attract them to a particular
product
and urge them to stick to that brand in a very efficient and cost-effective way.
This
is because, in
this
way, markets can increase their
product
sales to the top level.
Furthermore
, for clients, it saves their time, effort, and money in obtaining information about the particular
product
, as
due to
advertisements
,
customers
can be informed of newly-launched products to make the most optimal choices by comparing different brands and their varied qualities.
Secondly
, advertising is an excellent tool to inform the public.
This
is because were it not for adverts,
people
would probably not know about new
product
launches, special deals, discounts and interesting events. In short, commercials can impact
people
’s lives in a positive way.
On the other hand
,
ads
have numerous drawbacks for
people
.
To begin
with, nowadays online
ads
tend to be misleading and deceptive.
Therefore
, a lot of individuals get influenced by advertising most of the time whenever buying new products for themselves.
Moreover
, there are many brands in the market that use
advertisements
that are not true about the
product
. Many
people
believe those adverts but when they receive the
product
, it is different from the advertisement.
Therefore
, a lot of consumers will no longer trust the
advertisements
and a lot of brands can not use
advertisements
to promote their products.
To conclude
, advertising has pros and cons for
customers
.
Nevertheless
, many large companies can make a profit by promoting their
product
to
people
,
while
nowadays various types of
ads
might be misleading and
people
are confused about what is true or not.
