Write a letter to your landlord complaining about noise in the block of flats which he owns. Include: where you live what the problem is what he should do

Dear Mr Bran, I am writing to complain about the
noise
occurring in building A which is very disturbing. I lived in Flat # 224 in building B. I just moved here a couple of weeks ago. I like the place because it is quite peaceful here.
However
, for the
last
couple of days, I could not sleep well
due to
the loud music
noise
coming from one of the flats in building A. I believe, you
also
own building A. Loud bangs from drums and some other musical instruments can be heard. It is frustrating that there are inconsiderate people not minding that they can disturb others because of the
noise
they create. I would greatly appreciate it if you could inform those people to lessen their
noise
so as not to disturb others. I look forward to your prompt reply. Yours sincerely, (signed) Anna Smith

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
