Media plays an important role in shaping society. Should media be given more liberty or not?

The Importance of being liberal with
media
in today's world which is always debatable has now become more controversial with many people claiming that it is beneficial
while
others reject
this
notion. The substantial influence of
this
trend has sparked controversy over its potential impact in recent years. In my view,
media
should be given extra liberty for a better society. There are myriad reasons which will
further
explain
this
argument but the most preponderant one stems from the fact
media
educates society about the fundamental rights of a citizen. Another pivotal aspect of
this
trend is, it creates fear in the minds of criminals and businessmen to commit fraud that affects the general public. Categorically discussing, It cannot be ignored that the main reason behind
this
is that the
media
acts like a bridge between the government and the masses that helps to create public opinion. Probing ahead, all the information
that is
available through social
media
is open and cannot be concealed by individuals or organisations. Moving
further
, it is pertinent to mention that countries communicate softy over the internet on important issues related to trade and conflict.
Moreover
, it helps to create an ecosystem of sharing and caring among the nations. Apart from the reasons mentioned above, it is clear why many are in favour of
this
trend. With the reasons mentioned above, one can reach the conclusion that the benefits of
media
are too great to ignore.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
