While some feel that GMOs are harmless and are essential to providing the world with an ample supply of food, others argue that GMOs are not safe because they pose serious health risks. Discuss.

Today, maintaining good
health
is very essential. Half of the people mention
GMOs
are safe and do not bring any harm to consumers.
While
the other half feel
GMOs
invite a lot of
health
-related issues making
GMOs
dangerous to consume.
GMOs
have brought a lot of benefits to society and to farmers in several ways.
However
, we have to analyse both sides of the coin to understand it better.
GMOs
are a good introduction to today's technology-driven society and sophisticated lifestyle. It provides good quality and quantity food to the consumers. Tied up in busy schedules, and without enough time to look after ourselves, it is always advantageous to maintain balance in our
health
through
such
initiatives. The less use of chemicals and pesticides brings home the best standard food. As per studies, it has been found that the utilization of
GMOs
brings no harm to society and serves an adequate quantity of food.
However
, many argue the use of
GMOs
triggers several
health
risks
such
as allergies, cancer etc. It has been observed that
due to
the mutations in DNA, some people fear that eating foods with added genes may affect your DNA. Currently, no human research ties GMO intake to cancers. I would conclude that, in my view, the consumption of
GMOs
has no adverse effect on our
health
. Researchers failed to prove the intake of
GMOs
invites
health
risks.
