, comparing data between 1968 and 2018, the proportions of Housing, Transport and Leisure increased, and all the others either kept the same or declined. In 1968, Food took the largest ratio(35%) of the weekly income.

in the next 50 years, it dropped dramatically to around 17% and was surpassed by Housing and Leisure, which accounted for around 19% and 22% respectively. To be exact, Leisure was the top one
