In the future, nobody will buy printed paper or books because they will becomplete able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The invention of the computer and the
internet
in the 21st century has changed the human way of living. A decade ago
people
were trained to
use
hard
copies
of books but now with everything available on the
internet
, many
people
are now using the
internet
to read the
content
instead
of using paper
copies
. With
this
rising trend, some
people
believe that in future no one will
use
books to read but they will read through soft
copies
. I agree with the aforementioned statement.
This
essay will explain the reasons.
To begin
with, technology has changed a lot in human life. Specifically, with the invention of the
internet
everything is now available on the
internet
and there is no need to buy hard
copies
of books.
For example
, there was a trend to read newspapers on a physical copy of it. But now many
people
have switched to the online version of a newspaper. Nowadays, though, many
people
have switched to soft
copies
but still, there is a huge chunk which still prefers to
use
hard
copies
.
For instance
, my father prefers to read newspapers in hard copy.
Secondly
, the world is now facing a huge problem of pollution and paper's contribution to it is huge. As per one study, US offices
use
12.1 trillion sheets per day. So, when
people
will start using soft
copies
to read
content
less paper will be consumed and it will have a positive impact on the environment.
To conclude
, with the invention of the
internet
, most
people
started to
use
soft
copies
for reading
content
. I believe
this
trend will continue and eventually, the world will be using a negligible amount of hard
copies
to produce
content
.
