As time goes by, local values and traditions slowly disappear since there are not many youngest generations who put much interest in keeping their traditional occasions as they were passed down through generations before. I have to agree with the statement that traditional occasions are slowly disappearing and are threatened with extinction. Seeing how there are so many of today's generations who have a lack interest in protecting their ancient traditions, we should keep our heads up if there is one day when we can no longer see some of the old traditional festivals or celebrations in all parts of the world.

As science and technology have improved by leaps and bounds, a great many traditional cultures worldwide have been lost, and the trend may continue in the future, which makes some people believe that both aspects cannot coexist in a proper manner. From my perspective, I am not in favour of the view. While traditional cultures are facing extra challenges due to the popularization of technology, cultures and technology are compatible. They are inclusive rather than exclusive.
