let me just say I think it would be a really memorable birthday
dinner, especially for Chris
, since she is a big fan of self-care practice. As you have written in the email, the well-known mentor teacher Sarah will be shown at the party that day. So I'm 100% sure Chris
will feel on top of the world.
Having said that, I'm afraid I will not able to attend the birthday
celebration as my husband tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. I know it is her 30th birthday
which means a lot to her. I've thought long and hard about the decision, and I do not think it's the right time to participate in the party for health concerns.
I feel so sorry and I thought it would be better to write a letter to explain the whole thing instead
of talking to you on the phone.
I really want to meet up with Chris

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
