You have visited another city in your country. Prior to the visit you requested some information from a tourist centre, but the information was incorrect. Write a letter to the manager of the centre and say - What information were you looking for? - What was incorrect in it? - What happened to you because of it.

the Aqua tourism
centre
in Sydney two weeks ago. I and my wife are supposed to travel to the
centre
on 25 March but, I found that the information that I requested is inaccurate in the email that you sent me on 17 March. Please allow me to let you the incorrect part of the information. On the day of the reservation, I require you to send me the correct address which is not available to find through Google Maps.
Although
you emailed me with the new address of the
centre
,
however
, I am still having difficulty figuring out where the location is.
Also
, the price that shows on your website is $300 for a family booking but, it says only $230 for a couple on the Google service of your
centre
. As my and wife could be regarded as either a couple or a family, I will really appreciate it if you confirm which option will be applied to my current circumstance before I make a payment. Honestly, because of these issues, we are hesitating to drop by the
centre
which we are interested in visiting the place. I understand the reputation of the
centre
as one of the famous tourist places in Sydney but, I am struggling with budgeting to travel to Sydney for 7 days with my wife. The price gap on your website makes me comparatively confused to make a decision. I wish you to email me with the correct location and the price of the tourism
centre
. Kind regards Injun Lee

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
