You recently went to a public event (for example an exhibition, festival, or show) that you think your friend would enjoy. Write a letter to a friend. In your letter: tell your friend what the event was explain why you think your friend would like the event invite them to come to the event with you
Dear Ann,
It's been so long since we were in touch but I haven't forgotten the wonderful time we spent together
last
year. I hope everything going well for you.
I have attended Duren Carnival last
week. I thought I should have shared my experience with you, and it will be worth you to visit the carnival. The main attraction of the carnival is the literature festival. As a book
writer, you have an opportunity to introduce your new book
at the festival. Authors are invited to the carnival to promote their books and facilitate a small group discussion about the book
.
The carnival is conducted by the city authority of Duren. I have contacted over there, it may help you to introduce your book
in the following week.
You should have to stay at my home in Duran. I have a spare bedroom on the ground floor. I will bake a strawberry cake, your favourite, though I am a disaster in the kitchen. Let me know your flight time.I will pick up you from the airport,
I can't wait to see you again.
With love,
