figure rose continuously over time, reaching 80% by 1999. Computers came in second place, with 40% of the population owning one at that time. However
, the number of phones increased significantly over the four years by around 50% and overtook the position of computers after 1998.
The percentage of people with Internet access at home rose steadily and slowly in the first three years, and since 1998 a sharp increase of around 20% can be seen. The sole drop occurred between 1995 and 1996 on DVD players, but since then
