Some People believe that only the strongest individuals and teams can succeed in sports. Others think that success in sports depends on mental attitudes. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Sports
competitions can make
people
thrilled, and it is always fun to bet with friends about which one or which
team
can win. When it comes to
this
,
people
hold different views on who will be the champion. Some
people
think that medals should go to the fittest and strongest individuals and teams. As the Olympic spirit claims faster, stronger, and higher. No one can deny the fact that a robust athlete is more likely to win a gold medal. It is all written on his or her muscles and height. Just like
people
who have higher intelligence are more likely to succeed in scientific fields, these athletes are designed by god in the
sports
business. Unlike high IQ
people
, whom you can not identify from their appearance, the muscles cannot be hidden.
That is
why the audience has faith in them.
Also
, talented athletes can learn all the moves and actions more efficiently compared to others. Gradually, they will build more confidence and experience compared to the rest relatively weaker ones. Others argue that mental attitude is more important. Even though physical fitness is very important, there are other factors that need to take into consideration when predicting who can win. Willpower, strategy, and nervousness, are all factors that influence an athlete's performance.
That is
why many potential world record breakers end up failing in the real games. They fail to adjust their heart in the right place, even though they can achieve great results in practice. Meanwhile, compared to individual
sports
,
team
sports
are another story. A
team
with all fittest and strongest
team
members does not necessarily mean it can win the game.
Otherwise
, the USA dream
team
will bring medals after medals in the Olympic games. Not everyone needs to be strong in a
team
, as long as he or she fits the position, cooperates with others well, and maximises the competence of a
team
. In my opinion, I think good physical fitness is a foundation, but it does not represent everything. To me, mental attitudes are more important in
sports
games because ,in the real world, the physical fitness difference between the first and second can be ignored.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
