The maps below shows university sports courts in 1990 and now. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate the comparison of a university leisure
area
in 1990 and the present. Generally, there are significant developments in some sports courts
while
the cafe and reception have remained intact.
First and foremost, it is evident that the outdoor pool in the north-east area
is renovated into an indoor one whereas
two tennis courts
located in the south-east have been reconstructed into a fitness centre and moved to the car parking area
in the south-west, despite being added two new courts
. Similarly
, the trees lying northwest of the map have been chopped down and the park opposite the car park has been flattened and replaced by a basketball pitch.
Turning to the changing room, it can be seen that it has been relocated and extended next to the fitness square, although
the cafe and reception in the northern area
have been left untouched. Furthermore
, basketball and tennis courts
have been isolated from all other facilities.Submitted by Hein Htet Aung
