letter finds you well. I received the invitation to your farewell party dated 24th January. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the celebration on the specified date and I am so sorry for that. I wish you may achieve great success in the future. I want to come and enjoy the party with you but I am travelling to another town on the day of the celebration

due to

some medical reasons and find it difficult to reach the venue on time as I am not aware at the moment how much time it will take there. I hope you guys enjoy the most. I am grateful to work with you for the
