The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate the ways to reach a town's health centre in 2 different years.
Looking from an
overall
perspective, it is readily apparent that the site witnessed dramatic changes with regard to the pavement of new roads, the construction of a bus station, and the separation of public and staff parking lots.
In the first picture, in 2007, the city hospital was surrounded by a ring street and the ring street had a connection with the hospital road which was to the south of the hospital. The bus stops were located on the two sides of the hospital pathway and a parking lot was placed to the east of the hospital road which was used by both hospital workers and other citizens.
According to
the second map, another car park was constructed to the east of the health centre which was used only by residents. The previous car park became only belongs to the staff. Moreover
, a new bus station was built to the west of the hospital pathway and it was connected with the two intersections which were sited on the two edges of the hospital road.Submitted by emineknc on
