You have recently moved to a new home. Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter: explain why you have moved describe the new house invite your friend to come and visit.
Dear Mary,
Hope
this
letter finds you in radiant health and best spirits. I'm just writing to give you a piece of joyous news. This
morning, we moved to our newly-built house, and I'd be so delighted if you could come to celebrate with us our new accommodation.
Actually, my husband and I've been building our dream home for more than 2 years. After the construction works
had been completed a month ago, we decided to relocate and stay there as it's only a 5-minute walk from his current job, and at the same time, to enjoy the wide variety of facilities available in the city centre.
I'm so excited to let you know that Fix the agreement mistake
work
this
house is much more spacious than our old apartment. It's got about 3 floors with a wide garden in front of it, and there's a backyard for kiddos to cheer themselves up. What's more, not only do the bedrooms have got ensuite bathrooms, but also
they look over the garden.
Anyway, if you won't be doing anything else, you can come over and visit me around the end of March in the new home. Of course, you'll be staying with me as I'll prepare the guest room for you. In addition
to that, I'm planning to pick you up at the airport once you arrive.
Hope you'll be able to make it, and can't wait to see you then
.
Lots of love,
