The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year

The diagrams illustrate how the Southwest Airport will transform after renovation next year.

Overall

, it is readily apparent that the airport will be changed considerably. The main significant transformations are gates field, duty-free,

departures

and

arrivals

areas. At present, the north

side

has eight gates and a walkway which will be demolished and it will be replaced by a sky train.

Moreover

,

this

area will be expanded substantially by constructing two branches of corridors that will increase the number of boarding gates from eight to ten to accommodate more passengers and the sky train will be connected with duty-free shops in the future.  In the south

side

of the airport, the security section for

departures

and passport control custom for

arrivals

will remain in the same space.

Likewise

, the location of

departures

and

arrivals

entrances will remain as well but there will be attached additional doors. In the

departures

section, the current check-in counter will be moved from the left

side

to the right

side

which will be replaced by a bag drop section. Not only check-in spot will be moved but

also

a cafe, which will be moved nearby the left

side

of the departure entrance doors.

According to

the

arrivals

area, from empty space, there will be affixed a new café, ATM and built a hired floor for parking cars.
