You would like to participate in a work-related seminar in another country. Write a letter to the person in charge of the seminar and ask for detailed information regarding the dates, program, accommodation and cost. You do NOT need to write any address. You should write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing
this
letter to let you know that I will be representing my company in a seminar
that is
going to be held next month and there are a few doubts which I need to confirm before arriving.
Firstly
, please provide confirmation of the date of the event.
Moreover
, the details of the program with the number of other participants will be required.
Additionally
, I will be arriving the day before the program and would require accommodation from the same night. So, please confirm if there is any additional cost involved. You can call me on my mobile number which is available over the form or reply back the letter. I hope you will find time and share the required details as soon as possible. I will be waiting for your revert. With regards, Ranjan

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
