Ownership of mobile phones has risen dramatically in recent years despite the potentially harmful effects they may have on our health and on society. Governments should introduce measures to restrict ownership of mobile phones to those who need them for their work. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? You should write at least 250 words.

Even though people are aware of the harmful effects of owning a phone, the number of mobile owners has increased drastically in recent years. It is suggested that government should introduce restrictions on owning the device and limit them to those who require them for work. I will share my opinion on the topic in the following paragraphs. I somewhat agree with the idea that there should be restrictions imposed by the authorities on the ownership of mobile phones.
Therefore
, to accommodate the network in every area, huge receptors need to be established which emit harmful radiation.
Additionally
, it has been observed that the number of car accidents has
also
risen as people tend to use their devices
while
driving. The younger generation has been more indulged in using the device which is making the upcoming generations lazier and leading them towards obesity.
On the other hand
, mobiles have made common life so much more convenient touching every aspect of life.
For instance
, staying connected with your friends and family has never been easier.
Furthermore
, these compact machines enable people to reach out for help even in remote areas. The same applies to the IT sector where professionals can get instant updates on their phones
while
being away from the office. To sum it up, I believe that even though these devices have a lot of benefits, there should be some restrictions on possessing a phone for younger audiences. The power of the phones if put in the right direction can help us connect with the masses and transform the way offices are being run for generations.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
