Some people say that it is possible to tell a lot about a person’s culture and character from their choice of clothes. Do you agree or disagree?

It is said that outfit preferences can tell about people’s
culture
and personalities. I completely disagree with
this
view since the exterior look of a person may not be an identifier of a cultural background and personality traits for several reasons.
Clothes
can be misleading.
In other words
, a person’s
culture
cannot be found unless he wears his national
clothes
, meaning only specific
clothes
can inform about an individual’s
culture
.
For instance
, in the United States, most big cities are multinational, but most of their dress code is casual, and it may be impossible to identify their
culture
.
On the other hand
, people's behaviour or personality does not relate to their style of
clothes
. A shy person can wear the same
clothes
as a talkative person, but we cannot identify who is shy or talkative only from their
clothes
. We need to have a dialogue with them at least.
